Flexituff International Limited is India’s largest and world’s second largest fully integrated poly-woven packaging company credited with country’s Top Exporter Award for past seven years in a row.
Located at Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Indore (M.P.), Flexituff International Ltd. boasts of world’s largest integrated clean-room FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers for packaging of bulk commodities from 500 kgs to 2 tonnes and above) manufacturing facility. It is Asia’s only plant which is certified by the USFDA (AIB) of USA and IOP/BRC of UK for direct food contact packaging.
2.ENTERTAINMENT WORLD DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED (EWDPL) AND TREASURE WORLD DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED (TWDPL)
EWDPL/TWDPL is another sparkling crown of this diverse group and has developed and is running the first and only Rs.1000 Million (US$ 25 Mn) Shopping Mall of Madhya Pradesh at Indore by the name of “Treasure Island” successfully since last three years. The Mall is spread over 6,00,000 sq. ft. of space located in the most affluent part of the town at 11, Tukoganj Main Road, Indore, which is also the main artery of the Indore city and is now developing as a commercial centre of Indore. Treasure Island today has become the landmark of the city attracting footfalls of approximate 20,000 on the week days and 40,000 on the week ends.
3.KALANI INDUSTRIES PRIVATE LIMITED
This is the oldest company of the group which was started in 1974 by Mr. P.S. Kalani to take over the business for manufacture of R.C.C. Spun Pipes, Cement Mosaic Tiles and Asbestos Cement Pressure Pipes, which was started as a partnership firm in the year 1962 by Mr. P.S. Kalani. Thereafter, Kalani Industries Ltd. was also involved in financing, construction of apartments on the factory land, which was shifted to Pithampur and Wind Energy business.
In the year 2003 considering the social obligations and environmental concern Kalani Group took a conscious decision to either close down or sell or hive off all these business to other companies and Kalani Industries Pvt. Ltd. was to concentrate only on renewable energy business; particularly Wind Energy and Solar Energy, both of which needs CDM support. Accordingly in the year 2003 Asbestos Cement Pressure Pipe division was hived off to another company under the name and style of MRK Pipes Ltd., Finance Division was already closed in the year 2002 and Cold Storage was sold in the year 2005. Since then Kalani Industries Pvt. Ltd. is concentrating only on renewable and clean Energy Generation Project; particularly Wind Power Generation. 4.MRK PIPES LTD
MRK Pipes Limited was established in the year 2000 to take over the business of Asbestos Cement Pressure Pipes from Kalani Industries Ltd. for better synergy. MRK Pipes Limited today is engaged in manufacture of A.C. Pressure Pipes at 3 locations having a capacity of 50,000 MT per annum and Cement Sheets in Bhuj - Gujarat, having a capacity of 60,000 MT per annum.
THE PROMOTERS
Mr. Manish Kalani is a Graduate in Business Administration and has completed six month financial workshop from Wharton College USA. He has 15 years of valuable working experience with proven conceptualisation, implementation and leadership skills.
He has been at the helm of affairs of Kalani Group as Managing Director for over 17 years now. He has been responsible for transformation of the Kalani Group from a small business enterprise to a respectable size by making a foray into different avenues of business including Wind Energy, Real Estate Development & Construction and Packaging Industry apart from the flagship business which he took over, i.e., Kalani Industries Pvt. Ltd - manufactures of Asbestos Cement Pressure Pipes.
Today, the Kalani Group is a leader in manufacture of Asbestos Cement Pressure Pipes, largest exporters of FIBC Bags (2nd largest manufacturing facility in the world) from India and responsible for Development & Construction of the finest residential projects of the city of Indore. Manish Kalani has traveled across several countries and evaluated the prospects of developing urban centers/ complexes. Apart from the business, he is closely associated with various business and trade organizations.
